Rev. & Mrs. Mark A. Gibson Sr. and his children, Henry, DarNesha, and Mark Jr. came to Augusta by way of the United States Military. I am currently a CW3 Brigade Maintenance Officer stationed at Fort Gordon, Georgia.

On August 15, 2009, Rev. Gibson accepted the position of Pastor of Emmanuel Faith Tabernacle Christian Center. Under the Pastorate of Rev. Gibson, the church has incorporated a Sunday school, Youth Bible Study, and Nursery.

My focus is that Emmanuel Faith will align themselves with Acts 2:44…”And all that believed where together, and had all things common.” I want this church to function in the same manner as the families of old; taking care of one another. Our church family will function as a family – in the church and in the community. We will also raise the standard of the people and the community by teaching and sharing the truth of God’s Word!
As we remain faithful to God, we will remain faithful to each other.
